The History of the Dickheads in 1986 at a family funeral David Horney took over the church organ Ray Horney Grabbed a Guitar and they belted out a live punk version of "What a wonderful world".Thus DAVE AND THE DICKHEADS were born. shortly after Tony Moore and Chris Horney joined this Destructive Duo and so began a infamous journey through the pop world. they raped & Pillaged their way to fame.the first song that was relished was an instrumental cover version of "I want to break free" dedicated to Charles Manson but Freddie Mercury sued them over copy right. When the group were asked to comment on the situation Chris Horney just replied " I have spoken to the other members of the band and we have decided that "Freddie has no Dick and we hope he dies of Aids" (A rather unfortunate comment which later came back to haunt them). It was this comment which brought the group to pubic attention and they shortly raced up the charts with the infamous "where's Dave". a song written about the lead singer of the band who went on a Sex and Drugs rampage. He was found several days later hanging upside down naked on a lamp post covered in rhubarb & custard and a ratherly painfully placed Banana. the band began to raise hell in the pop world for their notorious behaviour Dave Horney was well known for his sex and drug parties, Ray Horney got involved in porn where he met his first love Gail Warning she was only 16 but was already a veteran of the porn industry. Chris Horney was the more sensible one of the group who concentrated on trying to keep everyone together but he unfortunately began drinking and mixing with the criminal fraternity where he met the infamous Edd, Edd (Mad dog) Hughes was wanted for numerous of Crimes and so to escape the clutches of the law he agreed to join the group as a bodyguard/Roadie. Tony Moore however began to believe that he was the true son of god and was the chosen one to save mankind (Tony was drinking enormous amounts of furniture polish & brake fluid at this time). Even though the Group had their various problems they continued to hit the charts with their unique sound. then in 1990 they group brought out a song called "Russell Harty" this was the down fall of the band as they were sued for slander for the sum of two million pounds this was due to the lyrics with "Russell Harty was invited to my party but he didn't bother showing up cos he was DEAD" the tabloids had a field day and it got worse for the group for shortly afterwards because Edd was arrested for the alleged murder of Russell Harty and other unsociable activities. They managed to get one more song released before the group broke up "True Romance" they did this in "beatle" style on the roof of the local Catholic School for young teenage girls. the police were called and arrested all of the members Tony was taken to a mental institution for running around naked chasing the nuns and Claiming he is God and wanted his nuptials, Ray was impersonating a biology teacher and was offering to give the Catholic Schools girls what he called (practical field tests), Chris was taken in to custody to help with their inquires, Dave for assaulting a police officer (and she was not pleased about it), Edd however had to be taken down by a swat team luckily his wounds were not fatal. That was the end of the Dickheads. As quickly as they came they left leaving a trail of sex,drugs, rock n Roll & Rhubarb...... |
